Tanks

The classic

To date we have built our “classic“ prestressed concrete tanks more than 3000 times in Germany. 

The wall elements are delivered to the construction site with special-purpose vehicles and fitted to a prepared circumferential/strip foundation by mobile crane by our specialised staff.

The prestressing strands are put in and a partly pretensioning is applied. Afterwards the base plate is concreted on site, before the vertical joints and the horizontal pretensioned sheaths are injected from the bottom up with a hydraulically hardened grout according to DIN 1045. With that, “nest-building” is impossible. 

Between wall plate and base plate a watertight joint is established. After a sufficient development of mechanical strength of base plate and injection mortar, the entire pretensioning is applied. By means of this pretensioning, occurring tensile forces in the concrete are impeded

Thus a crack initiation within the tank walls (including the joints) is prevented and the impermeability is warranted! All stretching cables are multiple protected of corrosion in the concrete. The tank system as well as the joint formation are patented and offer you a secure building.
